Dear Sirs

Can you please watch a programme like Antiques Roadshow on BBC1 and see what picture quality can be achieved in SD and then do something about the quality of your SD movies......grrrrr!

Maybe its your Television, is it LCD, which is not as good quality at Plasma?

I have Sky but not HD on my 50" plasma TV, as I will not pay the price for HD, especially when many other providers give HD for no extra cost.

My brother-in-law has a 40 inch LCD TV with Sky HD, and when we do a comparison, my picture quality is far superior.

So I think it does depend on your TV picture, and not just SD or HD.

They, Sky, push out their sd content at abysmal quality to encourage you to sign up for the HD pack. My 2p worth as a VirginMedia customer who has to tolerate the shocking quality of Sky F1 in SD passed over to the opposition in contrast to their stunning HD via their dish malarkey!
