Page 1 of what is the Rarest DVD to find??

i have heard dvd like salo r0 and cannibal holocuast are very hard to find but what is the hardest to find all together??

The most rare DVD I have in my collection is the Akira Tin metal Edition - with the sticker.

silence of the lambs: criterion
akira: tin box
wicker man: wooden box
life of brian: criterion

Try Heathers -in metal tin - 150,000 printed, half of which don`t play!
Mickey Mouse - in living color - Tin - again 150,000 printed.
I`m Alan Partridge - Withdrawn from print due to copyright problems
Danger Mouse - Tower of Terror (vol 3) box art withdrawn due to Sept. 11.
Any Criterion OOP title like Hard Boiled/Sid & Nancy etc.

Have a dekko at ebay too - should give you an idea of what some people will pay for a plastic disk......

or X-files box set for £25.........:-) Don`t go there...just don`t!

You`d be suprised how many people have item 3.

The rarest one I know of is also probably one that nobody would actually go out of their way to pay a lot for. Danger Mouse: The Tower of Terror check disc, only a small number of them made and after Sep 11th they were remastered with a new title and graphics.

I don`t think Heather Tin Edition is rare, Amazon.com still have them in stock. 150,000 copies is quite a lot, akira Tin edition is much more rare IMO, 10,000 copies and only about half of them have the Stickers.

I actually have 2 Akira Tin edition, one with sticker and one without. I did have a third one with a sticker but sold it to a friend.
