does anyone use audible.co.uk?>

Yo..
Given the awful problems I have going to sleep I have started listening to an audiobook - or the like in bed. At the moment I only have Jam and Why Bother though, both Chris Morris things..
It helps in case you were wondering, but I need more.. Has anyone used Audible, or have any other information on sites that offer audiobooks for download and that.

Audible is s***. Well, the actual product isnt bad, but you need to download their version iTunes, essentially, which is rubbish and the actual books are a DRM infested nightmare.

I know what you mean about sleeping, though. If you have an iPod, subscribe to some free podcasts. Ive got a couple on the paranormal and some on astronomy, that kind of thing which, obviously, do the job.

I lost my ipod during a hellish xmas shopping outing.. Currently using a shi-ite sandisk thing until i find the iphone. mind you, that p***es me off as it only works with Apple headphone jacks so you need an adapter to use your decent headphones, or speaker system things..

I`ll have a look in the itunes store and see if there is anything that takes my fancy..

i downloaded the orson welles war of the worlds thing (for free) the other day. that was good...

you can`t fault the iphone as a hardware music player, it top banana for that, & as for headphones, i use my sony`s, just go o fleabay for one of these

or the one i use, which has a longer cable + a mic built in, better for me cos my sony earphones have a breakout in the cable, & it makes them just the right length

Try some Paul McKenna stuff...doesn`t matter on what (stop smoking/lose weight etc. etc.)
20 mins of that boring w***er and that`ll put you right to sleep*
