Digital Cameras - any suggestion for retailers?

Slightly off topic, but I know a lot of you are into gadgets of this nature.

I already know which one I want (Fuji 6800z), and have found a couple of retailers that I might use, but before I part with my hard earned cash, I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations, good/bad experiences, they might like to share.

Any advise gratefully received.

I`ve used jessops.co.uk, they have the advantage of having high street outlets too.

I bought the olympus 2.1pixel camera from qed-uk.com who were the cheapest.
i then bought additional memory cards from www.ebuyer.com although i wouldnt recommend ebuyer when buying anything other than something that is unlikely to be faulty.

Thanks guys,
Jessops are convenient, cos theres one down the road from me, just a bit too expensive for this particular model. Qed, are only a little bit more expensive then the other places I saw on the net, but I`m happy to pay the extra (£20), if they have already provided good service/quality to a fellow dvd.reviewer.

Thanks again.

I`ve always had excellent service from empiredirect and unbeatable (both .co.uk), but it`s sometimes best to phone to check they really have items in stock - usually very helpful in both cases.

Try http://www.digitaldepot.co.uk/ - when I looked a while ago they had some good prices, and they often do extra memory bundles too. Mind you, I saw an ad for (spit) pcworld recently, and if I remember, they had the Fuji 6900 for £549 - meant to be a cracker of a camera.

Digital Depot also do refurb stuff - worth checking with them.

Bought a refurb Fuji Finepix 1400 + 4 Nimh batteries + charger + 32mb Smartmedia for just £230.80 inc deliver ages back.

The camera looked brand new to me - no marks or scuffs and is still going strong. At the time the camera was selling for £300 at Jessops.
