Sky Anytime TV?

Bezzawezza (Elite) posted this on Tuesday, 1st May 2007, 07:31

Noticed a few days ago that "Anytime TV" has popped up in the TV listing page for the Red Button command. When you look into it further it has a number of shows to watch at any time you like (Anytime TV, see what they`ve done there?). Anyway, my question is, do they charge extra for watching these shows in the Anytime TV bit? It doesn`t look like it but Sky never miss out on making a quick buck so just thought I would check.
Can`t find much about it on the Sky website

Believe it or not it is actually a free service (something free from Sky...can it really be true?!?!?)

It uses the reserved 80gb of space on Sky+ PVR3 boxes to save the programmes overnight and it`s up to you whether you watch them or not - no charge is ever made for them.

I`ve switched it off,coz it makes the HD boxes quieter if you do.
No whooshing and whirring while the content is being surreptitiously downloaded by SKY.
It`s pish anyway,IMO.
