A present ! , as well as being married to you!. You`re spoiling her and setting a bad example to the rest of us. ;)

I met my wife on 4th May 2002! Oh how we laughed when I used to say `May the fourth be with you`! Well I did anyway.....

Many congratulations to your wife. I hate it when the say `just surprise me`! I know it`s lazy but how about getting her vouchers for her favourite shop? Also a bunch of flowers goes a long way....

Yeah, I always do flowers anyway, did think about vouchers but feel like i am cheating if i do that. I have Friday off work so think I will just have to hit the town and see what jumps out at me.

Now I wonder if she would like a PS3. (:¦

I would think that creeping up behind her and letting off an air-horn would be a great birthday surprise :-)

If your wife is anything like mine, something with a diamond in it. Last year I got her some plain silver diamond stud earrings. Something small and discrete that she can wear every day to work. I dont think shes taken them out since.

I know its a cliche, but they really are a girls best friend.

I agree with Nick. Can`t go wrong with some tasteful jewellery. Or if she is into it, what about paying for a pampering session at a beauty salon? (Facial, manicure, massage) Most will allow you to pay up front and give you a voucher to give your wife so she can make the appointment to suit herself.

Really depends on how much you want to pay. Deluxe pampering can quickly go into 3 figures, but there aren`t many women who wouldn`t enjoy being spoilt like that.

Oh yes a lovely massage by a well built muscle gent would be lovely indeed with scented candles and music. MMMMM mmmm good.

I`ve just paid for my missus and her chum to go see `Dirty Dancing` the musical in London.
It`s in September,so I got a good deal on flights etc.
I`d have struggled to get her anything else of any real meaning or significance for the same money, but she`ll remember this for ages.
I always like to surprise her,if I can.
In the past,I`ve done things like put expensive handbags inside a big tub of roses etc.
She`s quite low maintenance,so she`s chuffed with the tin of roses.
When she opens the lid and sees an expensive handbag, she`s chuffed.

Easy one this....
You start with..."Darling, you do believe it`s the thought that counts, don`t you?"
She`ll answer "Of course I do! Why?"
You answer "`Cause I thought about buying you somethin` but it was too much grief so I didn`t bother" ;)

Seriously though, if you`re totally stuck what about vouchers to spend on whatever she wants somewhere she uses, like clothing or jewellery type store.
(Not Argos or Asda! Lol)
