Page 1 of play 247 delivery

been waiting five days for delivery....usually is about 2 days..anyone explain this?

I have been waiting for five days also.

Total Recall was posted to me on Wednesday and i still have`nt received anything.

Mind you it was sent out to me a good few days before it was released.

I ordered a disc from them about 2 weeks ago and it took about 6 days to get to me. This type of service has always been the same whenever I have ordered from Play247 though =(

anything to do with plane flights over london etc ? with the bombing in the us

seems slower to me.
ordered on the 11th but no sign yet.

5 days is about how long it usually takes, although I did have a spate of 7 DVDs which never showed up from them. In each case though they sent replacements.

You are, of course, joking are you not ?!

Do you honestly think that deliveries around the world aren`t going to be affected over last week, and for the next few ?

You`re talking discs from the United States. It`s not just passenger planes that have been disrupted you know, there are far more freight flights that people crossing the airways around the world.

Have patience folks.

I`m not 100% sure but i don`t think Play send their region 1 discs from America.

No, but that`s where the discs ORIGINATE from. Also freight all over Europe will be affected.

I believe Play`s discs come from Jersey.

In Plays defence, they posted a few to me on Thursday, arrived Monday (R2). Maybe I`m just lucky....?
