R2 i bought Final Destination from comet with my player
R1 i bought Road Trip from Northamericandvd.com at the time i didnt know alot of other sites and found it off a search engine
R4 Terminator SE frome ezydvd.com.au it was a good price and came out b4 the region 2 version

The first DVDs I bought were Bride of Chucky R1 and Evil Dead SE, way back in June 1999. Seems like only yesterday...

I bought Blade before I even had a player and I can vividly remember the feeling of pure joy when I first loaded it up. The picture/sound were shockingly impressive and I liked the menu`s and extra`s. I thought to myself "Are all DVD`s like this? WOW!!". I didn`t get my player modified till a few months later and my first R1 was Mystery Men, which was also a very impressive package. Ahhh, those were the days. Just think, we`ll never experience that initial excitement ever again (Maybe I should buy a new T.V or better Amp, that might help!).

R1- A Clockwork Orange. Bought it before the player Feb 99 still havent`t watched it. But have seen it on pirate a long time ago, just waiting for the right moment like many of my other discs. Got to be in the right mood for this film.

As soon as I knew my Encore was on the way, I foolishly signed up for three DVDs from Britannia : now I`m stuck with them for another year after having been fleeced for three full price DVDs, with another three to get (HELP !!!)

Anyway - the first three were The Matrix R2 (naturally), Ronin R2 and LA Confidential R2. Never looked back since !

mine was End of Days R1 second hand from Blockbuster in San Francisco last summer before i got my player. then i also picked up a couple more from a Blockbuster down the coast for around a tenner - Three kings and Fight Club. first R2 was Ghosbusters...

yup.. mine was Matrix R4,, followed by ronin R2... then abyss 2 disc special edition R4,,, it seemed like only 3 weeks or so ago.....oh.. it WAS only 3 weeks ago...lol ;0)
