Went off them when the handing out of the medals and Cup to OUR World Cup Winners was performed,or not performed as the case may be.

well, what a bunch of complete w***e`rs.

I flew out to Oz in Nov 2002 and the amount of warnings posted about bringing foreign fruit into the country was phenomenal.

When we went, we were unlucky enough to be surrounded by old Germans (Nothing racist, but they were the most naturally arrogant selfish and rude people you`d never want to be surrounded by). As we were waiting to go through Sydney Passport control, every single pole holding the rope barrier up had a picture of an apple with a line through it, along with a warning about the HUGE fine you can get for importing foreign fruit. We thought it was slight overkill when the fruit-sniffer dogs came round. Brisbane and cairns was the same, I can`t believe this old couple didn`t spot at least ONE of these warnings.

That said, the 2 hour interrogation was just plain stupid.

They came from Yatton, a village/town next to the village I grew up in. I can well understand. :D
