Johnathan creek - Wild horses won`t keep me away

Glad to see Mr Curly-head is back this Saturday (BBC1 - 21.05) and I hope they`ve got more than just 3 episodes for us this time.

Looking at the details on the forthcoming DVD release (next monday, I believe) I was quite shocked to see that there was only 5 episodes per series. The first one I remember was the one SPOILER:
where the Killer Bricks himself into the basement after murdering the comedian - you know the one I mean
There was one before this, but for the life of me, i can`t remember it.

But My overall fave has still got to be The Black canary, for 2 reasons.

1: Rik Mayall is in it, and is superb

2. I sussed it before Johnathan did

I think Sherlock Holmes starring the late Jeremy Brett (Saturday BBC2) could suck Johnathan Creek in and blow the bones out his arse.

Oscar.

Dammit, I hate it when I agree with Oscar.

I like Johnathan but I can`t stand Julia Sawally`s character... and yes watched a Jeremy Brett Sherlock a while back-liked v. much. Apparently Brett got very into the character and became rather obsessed with it. Also liked the laconic style of the late Michael Williams on the radio
Still a big fan of radio drama-when its good its very very good.
