Where can I download programming guides/tutorials from???

Bubblegum (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 19th November 2002, 12:25

I`ve been applying for programming jobs, but I am getting a little bit rusty with C and C++ and would like to brush up a bit.
I`d also like to teach myself visual basic as I have no experience with it.
I`ve found people on Ebay selling programming Ebook guides, does anyone know if they are any good, or anywhere where I can download similar material for free?

Any help/advice would be good here

Try the "Thinking In ... " series by Bruce Eckel. You can download the pdf versions of his book from his site.

(at least for c++)

Sorry don`t know any freebe VB guide, although I`m sure you could find some with google.

Pretty sure the ebook guides sold on ebay are pirated btw.
