Which E-Mail phone should I get for Mum...?

Which should I go for? My mother is too old to get into computers but would like to use e-mail. Any ideas?

Swapping your mum for an e-mail phone...
That`s terrible...

Be careful!

I remember see something about the 2 amstrad e-mail phones with the newer one being very expensive to run.

I have seen the old one for about £30 new

Yes, not sure what the cost per minute is for them...
I just had my Onetel bill through, and they were doing those Amstrad ones at a special rate (£49?), but again it didn`t mention the call charges - might be worth a call to them - presume you`d have to use the onetel dial code to connect, but I`ve found them pretty cheap - certainly for daytime calls.

Thanks guys,

are the Amstrad phones the only ones available? I`m having real difficulty in finding any information on the net.

Can anybody point me in the right direction?

The BT Easicom 1000 isn`t bad for £40. Have a look at:

for some more info.
