Animal Crossing Wii - friend codes?

Sue Brown (Elite Donator) posted this on Tuesday, 27th January 2009, 11:44

Anyone got it and fancy exchanging codes with me? I`ve just ordered Wii Speak as well, so hopefully I`ll be getting vocal shortly, if you can cope with it! :D

Looking for daytime players, and weekend daytimes. Don`t get on after tea unfortunately. :(

I`m Sue in Ashford with code 3566 6355 5320

Hopefully someone will have it. It`s a great laugh online! ;)

Did you play the GC version? If so does it offer anything new apart from the talking? My missus loves the GC version, but from what we saw on Playr, it looke dlike more of the same with talking.

We don`t have a Wii (or a 360 or PS3) so it was looking like a "plus 1" in the "reason to buy a Wii" column.

Hi Nellieboy,

Hope you don`t mind me joining in. We got it for our kids because they loved the nds version. Guess what they love this even more. Problem is I can`t get them off it! They like checking in to see if they`ve got any letters from the characters it`s fairly interactive.

Ooh, questions...

It is very similar to the GC and DS versions, yes, although there is now a bus stop so you can catch a bus to the city, to go to extra shops. (hence the title Animal Crossing: Let`s Go To The City)

As with the DS version, you go online and interact with friends through the online connection. They come to your town, you go to theirs. Plus once you have exchanged friend codes, whether you meet online or not, you can still send each other letters and gifts (or sell stuff to each other by agreeing a price for something then one sends the item and the other sends the money)

Up to 4 people in the same household can have a file in the game, and you each get a house in the same town. When I am playing, if I go into either of my boys` houses, I can see what they have in there, and if I go upstairs, they are sleeping on their bed - aah!

Plus my online friends can send stuff to my kids as well as to me, and I can send stuff to anyone in our town or online. The game is extremely interactive. And very addictive.

Very addictive! :D

On our Wii forum, there are plenty of adult married men who play this just as much as their wives and kids! They have fishing competitions with each other, stuff like that.

Wii Speak is just an added bonus really. It really makes it an even more fun game. :)

Oh, and you can take photos in the game and save them to your SD card, then print them or upload them, like this:

That`s me on the left with two other women from the forum, all playing together online. ;)

Well probably. It`s very "Sims"y but cute instead of boring. (I hate the Sims, but I love this)

Does that help at all?
