Page 1 of Will you buy a new console with all the price cuts?

I already have a gamecube but with the X-box going down to £99 on Friday I`m tempted. The PS2 is already at £99 so has this influenced anyone to buy one and if so which. I`m edging towards the X-box

Well I picked up an XBOX when it was available for £60 so this price drop will no doubt help sells of the XBOX but I dont see it helping PS2 sells, after all it has always sold well even when it was £300, now a drop in game prices will help all 3 consoles, I havent bought a new game for my PS2, XBOX or NGC for months, the next game I get will probaley be Resident Evil 4 which is months away lol

I`m almost tempted to buy a PS2... the only thing that still puts me off is the build quality.
