Mad Max- R1 or R2

Gangster No 1 (Competent) posted this on Tuesday, 28th May 2002, 19:19

Since Play are selling the R2 release for £7.99, it had crossed my mind to buy it, but they (Play) are selling the R1 Special Edition for £13.99. I`m not really concerned with extras, just the film.

Can anyone help?

Region 2 is not anomorphic to my knowledge (but I may be wrong on that point). It doesn`t have special features and audio play back is MONO.
Region 1 has some documentaries on flip side, is in wide screen and has a dolby surround soundtrack. It is well worth the extra few quid. Go for it.I did and am not disapointed.
