Page 1 of DTS SOUND PROBLEM ANYONE IN THE KNOW??

have just purchased atlantis r2 while watching i noticed several times during the movie ithe sound cut out while on the d.t.s. track but when played in the 5.1 track on the same scenes there was no such problem.

as a back up i played it through my ps2 on dts through the same system and there was still no problem so back to my normal dvd player on dts and there it was again.

i have had no problems with other dts movies was wondering if anyone had heard of similuar probs,

What is your amp?

From what you have said, surely you see the problem is with your player. Which make is it ?

the amp is a yamaha rx-620rds the player is a pioneer 515,

but i dont see how it could be the amp as playing dts off the playstation 2 through the same amp i have no problems.
as yet i have had no trouble with dts such as evolution, jurassic 3 but have yet to try another dts soundtrack since atlantis
