Leon R2 is a great movie, the international version is sublime, stupendous, brilliant, mind f**kingly good.
The NTSC transfer is excellent the audio mix is also a very good DD5.1.
I think that the international version is as close as we`re going to get for a special edition of this movie.
Sell your house, sell your partner, pets and offspring but BUY this movie,
I think I`ll have a rest now.

Perhaps not go quite so far as to getting rid of everything you own...but definitely buy the R1 International version of the film over and above any other version. The extra 27 mins make a difference. :-)

Isn`t the R2 equivalent of the international version due for release sometime in January?

Anyone heard of a definate release date?

Haven`t heard of a release date for the R2 version of Int. version Leon. But just to cast my vote the R1 extended version is well worth the extra stuff. When you`ve seen it you will wonder how you were able to watch and enjoy the first one to begin with.

Much better, although I disagree about the DD5.1 soundtrack on it. It just sounds like pro-logic through 5 channels to me rather than something extra special. I had the NTSC laserdisc version a few years back and I couldn`t tell the difference between the two.

Giles.

Hey guys

I don`t think I need to add my support for getting the international version of Leon, but can you believe how s***e the R2 version is ?

I had originally bought it in a sale for a tenner, but still felt ripped off. All I got was the film and zero else.

I just can`t believe that they`d make such a s*** DVD !! :)
