For the first one I`d get the US region 0 Elite special edition. Not sure about 2.

Get Region 0 version of evil dead because it is in the original aspect ratio 1.33.1 rather than a new cropped version for the uk release.

As for Evil Dead 2, you might aswell get the R2, it has allof extras minus a photo gallery. (whoopie) and the PAL picture should look slightly better than the NTSC.
