I really liked the movie. I know that quite a few people think it`s quite mediocre but it depends what floats your boat. I like it, other animation stuff I also liked is Toy Story 1, 2 and Bugs Life. Not quite the same, but anyway. Sorry, I`ve got a cold and my head is scrambled. Not making much sense. Titan AE. Rent it first, then if you like it, buy it. It`s not to everyone`s taste but I really liked it.

It bombed at the cinema - it was aimed at adults but do adults really want to see a cartoon (when not billed as South Park :D)?

The DVD, however, make sup for that. You can watch it in the comfort of home without being embarrassed to take your "nephew" to the cinema to see it. Lots of extras and the animation is superb. Above all else, the sound is fantastic - I`ve hear it used as a demo disc. But despite being aimed at adults, the plot is a simple kiddies one.

Its good but not great. I wasnt really ecstatic after seeing the dvd. Most places sell it for around £12-13 so its quite cheap. I got the R1 from dvdboxoffice. Basically its like star wars. Luke Han, Leia and chewie and C3po and R2D2 on a quest to find a ship that will save the universe (anti-death star which creates life) Star wars is better but this is a decent watch. I`d say rent it.

horriffic film unless you really like scripts aimed at 8yr olds!! just dire and lazy story but the animation is good and sometimes great.

if you want a top animated film just hold till july and get akira, or try ghost in the shell or perfect blue.

titan ae killed the fox animation dept. and we can only hope that they shot the screen writers at the same time. DEINITELY rent it first

have to say i really liked this one but everyone has different tastes.

and akira is way to over praised it is a good movie but not that good.

go for ninja scroll, princess mononoke, or the afore mentioned perfect blue and ghost in the shell if u want something more grown up. and if grown up is not your thing stick with disney.

As adult Animes are being mentioned, for a truly sick visual feast, watch "Urotsukidoji-Legend of the Overfiend"and Part II "Legend of the Demon womb".

yeah i agree that akira is over praised but it is an animated film that is deserving of being watched more than once, and theirs precious few normal films that you can say that about!

i just hope that Rebellion pull their finger out and release a Judge Dredd manga style film to do the character proud. can`t see it mind but heres hoping...
