Page 1 of Sixth Sense R2 in Wharfdale 750s

Has anyone else had problems playing Sixth Sense on the Wharfdale 750s - I am getting a coloured band down each side of the screen - have tried switching the setting s back to factory default but no difference PS have Tesco quit on the wharfdale dvd players

Hi DSmith,

This is a well known issue with a few players not just the 750S, and is easily worked around.

When the coloured bars come up, press `stop` so that the display shows `stop resume` then go to the DVD setup/config menu, and then exit the menu, and press `Play` which will resume the film from where you left off and the bars will have disappeared.

As a tip for the future, try a keyword search in the forums to find previous posts on the same subject, there a few other posts regarding thsi issue and the 750S as well as other machines and the workaround is already listed - this might save you time waiting for an answer in future - hope this helps :-)

Thanks Chris - I had intended to do a keyword search as I was sure the problem must have arisen before, but couldn`t find the search button beside where you enter keyword search. Pressing enter didn`t work

I had this problem with a 750s, it turned out that having my tv set to Auto for PAL/NTSC was causing the problem. Before watching Sixth sense I had to set the tv to PAL and everything was fine.
I changed the Warfie for an LG and everything works fine still switched on AUTO.
