Page 1 of The Abyss(R2) branching software problems

Has anyone else experienced a problem with the abyss? My r2 copy freezes during the special edition version at the points were the extra scenes were added.

My player is a samsung 709 without any region hack loaded

I am having similar problems with xmen region one, except it pauses then goes blank for a couple of seconds then starts where it left off.This too has branching scenes,wonder if this is the cause as well

could be. I am now on my third copy but still the problem persists. I found a sammy 709 user group and they seem to be having the same problem as me. could this be another gladiator type disc exchange in the making?

Kevin this bug has been around for a while
on the sammy 709,the reg1 also had the
problem,there is a fix,you have to upgrade
your firmware to 3.32 this cures the bug
and you will have no more problems.

Kev if you go to www.709online.com
you will find a links page that gives
you all the info on getting new firmware
for the sammy 709.
If i were you i would get 3.32 as quick
as you can because lots of disks are
causing problems on firmware below 3.32

thanks for the tip. have downloaded the update but am unsure what to do next. do i burn it onto cd and play it and if so which format do i use?
