dvd audio/sacd have they caught on?

or are they just doomed to failure? i havent seen them available comercially yet even though they were launched around 2 years ago

by the way i have a pioneer dv656a which plays both

not too sure about dvd-audio but sacd is the nuts! check out pink floyds master-work dark side of the moon for proof! also bob dylan has had 15 of his back catalogue released on sacd(though only 6 are in multi channel for some reason).Loads of the rolling stones back catalogue is now available.the only problem is that there seems to be a lack of new albums coming out in sacd but thats due to change, again with bob dylan and the bootleg series volume 6 being the first new release as a hybrid disc.

Have kept an eye out for these for the last year and they don`t appear to be making any headway in the high street. Oxford Street HMV staff have had no idea what I was talking about when I asked a couple a few months ago and Virgin (Oxford Street also) have a tiny shelf shoved at the back of the store that has about 30 titles, all about £16 each.

Not particularly good for two of the biggest Music stores in the UK, nay Europe. :(

It will take a couple of years and it will be the crazy just like the Dvd player at the moment. The dvd players took awhile.
