this also applies instore, where they had plenty in stock, I got Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story for £8, other goodies are `The Thing` and `Ghostbusters` i think they`re cheaper than on play247.

Only drawback is the film is s***!

Ordered it from Ezy, at £8 odd including postage, much better value.

I have both R2 and R4 version of Armageddon, in my opinion..
The package of R2 version is far better than R4, picture quality is slightly sharper and brighter.
For 2 quid more, I would go for R2 version.

Thanks! Managed to get Armageddon SE, Stargate Directors Cut and Se7en 2 Disc for £7.99 each!! (instore - so no postage either).

You may think that Armageddon (or the others) is a s*** film, but the dvd is excellent (sound, picture and extras).

Oh, and also got American Beauty and Gladiator CE on BOGOF (ie. £20), from Woolies - again instore.

Sure beats waiting days for delivery!

Why do people knock Armageddon? I think it`s a great film. A pure popcorn movie to sit back and enjoy. Great fx, funny script, stong cast, execellent visual scenes.

BUY IT NOW!

Better still, wait until DVD is no longer a great format to watch movies on. You may inherit an entire collection for next to nothing when you`re 80 and your eyes are shot.

I say, let these nice people have their bargains where and when they find them. There`s always a better one, there`s always an SE disc around the corner.
