If you know someone with a Makro card, they are currently doing a Samsung with 2.1 million pixels for £199 + Vat, I know it`s a little more expensive, but as well as a 6 times digital zoom, it also has a 3 times optical zoom. And it don`t half look better than the non-existent Kodak thingy!

You may have to ring them, but I got myself a refurb FujiFinepix 1400 last year for around 180.
It was in mint condition and I have used it for months without any probs
