Page 1 of Epson Picturemate 100 - £40 delivered - great Christmas present(s)?

Hi all,

Epson Picturemate 100 - seems a reasonable "photo" printer, would make a decent christmas present to anyone with a digital camera.
Some good reviews and some not so good, but at £40 - I am sure it is a good buy. I think this originally retailed at about £90.

I think if you shop around for the consumables printing can work out at about 17p per photo.

PC world also have it at £39.99 delivered or store collection, but I know I would rather support the "smaller" companies, but here is the link to them too.
BUT do remove the USB lead they "automatically" include!!!!!

Good spot OP

I seen this reduced to £39.99 in Tescos last night.

Personally I would rather buy from a big store than a small online company - returns are generally easier and cheaper.

PS I noticed the cameras2u website says "Free next working day delivery available on orders over £100"

Cheers picked one up from that dreaded place called PC World - I knew that when I went in it wasn`t going to be a simple straightforward transaction. Price on printer on shelf £39.99 - checkout price £99.99

Took 10 mins convincing the braindead checkout bod it was £39.99

Thankgod I only go into PC World when I REALLY have to :/

Now seems to be back to £99.99 at PCW?! Still, it does say you can "upgrade"to a 100 plus and get a free carry case for just £85.50! :D Yup - they really are c@@P!
