0% on credit card till Aug 05

Not exactlly a dvd bargain but if you buy as many as me you probablly have a very worn credit card. Barcalycard started an offer yesterday with 0% on new purchases and balance transfers till August next year, which is by far the best I`ve seen especially if you have a loan of some sort and are paying huge amounts of interest. At the moment it`s only available in branches and I think the offer is only running for a month. Hopefully this may help someone out.

err..eh?
Barclaycard are a separate entity from Barclays bank - they don`t have branches.

If it`s Barclays Bank then the offer should be online...? :/

Barclaycard are a seperate part of Barclays, within the Barclays PLC group.

This offer is for new credit card holders only, not existing ones. However, if you do hold a Barclaycard already, there is a really low offer available - 2.5% for life, or something like that.

Either way it is a winner, just don`t forget to pay every month, otherwise the interest rate will go back to 13.9%+

I read on the MoneySavingExpert site that the offer will be available online from 16 June. By the way, in the Eagle Centre, Derby today Barclaycard had a stand set up and were offering only a six-month 0% deal. I guess this is so that if you don`t know about the August 2005 deal and you sign up for this one, you are classed as an existing customer and are not, therefore eligable for the newer, better offer. Sneaky!
