any idea what the brand is?

a cheapie shop in my town centre always do packs of duracell (ultra plus right now) for £1.99 - this is for 4xAA, 4xAAA, or 2x the bigger ones (not very technical - sorry :-).

Just wondering how the superdrug ones are going to compare for longevity.

Superdrug brand - definitely not as good as Energizer Ultra or Duracell Ultra but okay for average drainage goods.

The "Longer Life" Superdrug AA batteries are just as good as Energizer batteries... 2 last me a week - thats around 5hrs a day for 7 days.

Just a point of interest, I read (a couple of years ago) that in terms of how much battery life you got for your cash, Superdrug`s own brand batteries were the best value. Don`t know if that`s still the case though.
