I`ve got an alba DVD 103 and have had no problems with playing R1 titles. Well, the 2 I have anyway (Hollow man and Big mommas House). You dont need to hack it either, which is nice.

Strange as it is, i`ve had no problems with my Alba 103 player. I`ve herd all about the many problems other people have had though, so I guess i would really rec buying one.
