Alan the play 2,7,4 is listed at the end of point 1. After OR you *may* be able to press the buttons ............
This is how I read it, and by looking at the other messages I`m not the only one. Perhaps it should be written more clearly.

As for your point about the oneforall..... yes I am aware that this unit is upgradable and so are oneforall as it was them who told me that it will not operate my B&O TV !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, thanks for asking anyway.

I have tried the Phillips hack
1. Play, 2, 7 and 4 on remote control to enter the code screen
2. The onscreen display should look like this: `-----------`
3. Using the number keys on your DVD player`s remote control, enter the code 222 222 005 255
4. Press the Play button on your DVD player`s remote control.

Did the above with My Phillips 701 remote nothing happened after play was pressed.
I have now bought a Oneforall 6. Works a treat!! (must ensure that DVD is selected before pressing `magic` then `085` , got there in the end!)
Big question now is:
Will I need this remote for any reason in the future? or will my machine be multiregional for good?? (I have a Bang & Olufson tv which needs a different oneforall!!!)

Tried the hacks on this site doesn`t work please help me

CAN YOU HELP ME TO HACK MY PHILLIPS 701????

Have tried the remote control hack, i.e. pressed: play,2, 7 and 4.
Get the onscreen display `-----------` then typed 222222005255 pressed play on remote- NO RESPONSE.
I have a one for all but not the correct one, and don`t have a palm pilot. Is there a simple way to make this player multiregional without buying a new one for all etc..???
Please help!!!!!!! If any suggestions are there any side affects/problems?
