Page 1 of CAN YOU HELP ME TO HACK MY PHILLIPS 701????

Have tried the remote control hack, i.e. pressed: play,2, 7 and 4.
Get the onscreen display `-----------` then typed 222222005255 pressed play on remote- NO RESPONSE.
I have a one for all but not the correct one, and don`t have a palm pilot. Is there a simple way to make this player multiregional without buying a new one for all etc..???
Please help!!!!!!! If any suggestions are there any side affects/problems?

a one4all remote with dvd capability is needed...

You`ll need...

The One for All remote, or...
A Palm Pilot + Omniremote, or...
A Philips Pronto.

no way to use 222... code with the supplied remote.
