RE: Did Neil Armstrong walk on the moon? or did he walk in a movie set?

Go and have a look at:

www.enterprisemssion.com

Check out " who mourns for Apollo "

To HappyExHitachi505Owner.

You are correct, it is the Japanese that will launch the probe to the Moon,

Someone said why don’t they point the Hubble space telescope at the moon. I was told that NASA had said that they will NEVER point it at the Moon - but I don’t know why, I have heard that it gets pointed towards the Earth quite often though.

RE: Did Neil Armstrong walk on the moon? or did he walk in a movie set?

Check out a web site that has lots of information on the Moon Landings, and Hoax theories at

www.enterprisemission.com

interesting stuff................

IF all goes well, in about 2 years time, the Chinese are sending a probe to the Moon that will take high res photos of the surface, these should show the descent stage of the LEM that remains on the Moon.

That’s if someone does not intercept the probe before it gets there...........

RE: Cardboard `snapper` cases - a thought for lunchtime

You could try some computer shop`s, I`ve seen them for about 50pence each.

RE: Which `panned` films did you enjoy.....?

Alien3
Contact
2010

All good film

RE: Last one on the shelf`s full price.......

Right then, Mike G`s answer is the one for me.

I`m off in town on Saturday, Bollocks manual at the ready.

I`ll let you know what happens.....

Regards

Karl

Last one on the shelf`s full price.......

I have seen The THING on sale in HMV in Sheffield for £12.99 ( sale price ), this was on the computer system, they did not actually have one on stock however when I asked.
When I went back to Hull HMV, they did have one, at full price ( £19.99 ). I asked the bloke in the shop if it was in the sale, as I had seen it cheaper in Sheffield, and he said no, as it was the last one in the shop they could only sell it ( by law ) at the full price.
Has anybody else heard about this law also? or is the shop talking crap.

Cheers

Karl

RE: Mission Impossible 2. Any Good??

Exelent Film, better than the first.
lot`s of extra stuff as well.

RE: What is the best gun fight/shootout in a movie ever?

The Australian film `Bad Taste` -

one of the them shoots at an alien stood at a window
with an RPG - stright through the window - out the otherside
of the house and explodes a sheep

The Puke eating scene is funny also.

RE: may be a daft question but.....

I also had heard that Aiwa was owned by Sony.

Also, check the Sony Corperate web site, have a look for the "Annual Report 2000", there is mention of how much Aiwa
sales accout for total Sony sales.

RE: Is Kelly`s Heroes on DVD ????

....have you modified your DVD so it plays forward or backwards faster than anyone else in the European theater of operations......

RE: pioneer 530

I have had a 530 for some time now and I don`t think that it is noisy, it looks good and feels good. Some people say that the remote is a bit of a down point but again I don`t have a problem with it.
Layer changes - what are they...........
Very good sound and picture quality also.
Very good machine for the price.

RE: Star Wars

It`s got to be Phil`s ex-girlfrend, no fun if it wasn`t

RE: DVD commentaries - waste of time?

Apollo13 has a good commentary with Jim & Maralyn Lovell about the actual events of the real Apollo13 incident.
I think I have watched it more times with the commentary than without it.

RE: What TV series would you like to see released on DVD ?

"Blakes Seven" or "Space 1999" or "UFO"

Some one on "Top Gear" made a joke about B7 being released on dvd -
hope he was right.

RE: HOW PURE ARE YOU? (Take the DVD Reviewer Purity Test)

Aaaggghhhh....!!! 26%

.....think I`ll just nip off and shoot my self.........

RE: pioneer 535

According to the destructions it does, but I don`t have any to try

RE: how hack a pioneer 535?

530 - 535 requires a hardware hack, no remote hack is available

RE: Pioneer DV 530 - Noisy disc mechanism

I have the Pioneer 530, the only noise I get is when I open it to put in a disk - and close it again.

No noise during play-back only the motor whirr

Try another disk, it might be that the disk is out of balance or faulty.

RE: Pioneer 530

Had one for about a week now and I think it`s great.

I have the Pioneer 530 ( silver ) type

Pioneer 530(unofficially) ROCKS!!!!!!

RE: Go out and see the eclipse!

Been out and seen it.

Not too much like "Under a Blood Red Sky" more like a pale pink disk.

Clear( ish ) sky in the East Riding.
