Shrek 2 less than £5! - W H Smith Instore

Just been into my local Smiths (Weybridge, Surrey).

They are selling Shrek 2 for £9.99, but it is also included their buy one get one free offer. :D

Don`t know if this is an error but they had loads of copies marked at £9.99 with the BOGOF sticker on.


Offer includes a load of other titles, although most are over £10.

Nikon dD70 - £100 cashback

Just bought a D70 with 18-70DX online with Dixons. Web price was £749 but there are some discount vouchers around and I managed to get it for £715.

Took advantage of buy now pay in 12 months. Paid £71.50 now and will apply for £100 cashback. Therefore initial cost is -£28.50 ;)

Just have to find the other £643 this time next year. :D

Half Price Thomas Wooden Toys + Others

Everything is currently half price at Carousel toy shop. They seem to do this every year and they don`t stick all the good stuff back in the stockroom.! :D

Loads of wooden toys inc Rocking Horses etc

Pretty large range of Thomas trains, tracks,accessories etc and also Brio train sets and tables. Loads of other branded toys

Picked up a load of thomas trains for my 3 year boy. Smaller trains were £5 and larger ones £7. Normally impossible to get any sort of discount on these. :)

Worth a look if you are local as they only seem to have one store.

1)Sorry if I broke forum rules. I don`t think there are any conditions beyond those on in store leaflet..... I could not find anything on their website. Suggest bargain hunters go to their nearest store and pick up a leaflet for details. :/

Seems that the 10% applies to the original price. eg Man from Uncle originally £15. With 10% off I make that £13.50 but the 10% has been taken off original list price of £30.

May be some bargains to be had on discounted stock :)

Portable Air Conditioning Unit - £134

Available at Homebase with 10% off on Thursday. Cheapest unit I`ve seen. Don`t know if its anygood and no details in catalogue other than 9,000BTU (whatever that means). :/

My computer room has been turned into a nursery by the Mrs and I have been relegated to the attic with computer gear so this could be useful. :(

Definitely need some cooling if this summer is as hot as last year.

For those of you in the North you could probably pick a heater on 10% day as an alternative. ;)

Seems to be instore only.

Cheapest price I have seen including online stores.

They are also doing a buy two save £10 offer on disney films (including Nemo)

Alien Films - Special Editions BOGOF

Play have currently got a BOGOF deal on special edition Alien films. You can get all four films for £34 which is quite a bit cheaper than quadrilogy box set. Plus if you only want first two films (like me) you can get them both for £17 and spend the rest on something decent ;)
