Listen mate why not get your money back from richer sounds....i did i had probs with the himage too!....They will give you a full refund after so many problems.
Then take your money to Tescos and purchase a Wharfedale 750s for £99

Wharfedale 750+750s

Does anyone know why tescos have slashed £80 of the price of the wharfedale and brought it down to £99, what is the reason for it?
Do any of the columnists(Robert,Rich,Mike etc) know why?

people i also had a himage and after 3 days of problems i took it back and got a refund and went to tescos and bought a wharfedale 750s for £99

i also had the same problem with the player locking up on r2 titles like the mummy, matrix etc.
i took it back to richer sounds after 3 days and they said they knew about it and had a couple back...so they gave me a full refund.
so i didnt know what to do so, my mate then told me they were doing wharfedale 750s at tescos for £99.95....so i bought one and it cured the problem.

looked on the video but no buttons or switches,also looked in the book but nothing ?
Have you tryed taping a r1 dvd with this player and what have you got the player set to?

watto, i also have dinosaur on r1 but when you play it ...it wont play from the main title screen,you have to goto the scene selections and start it from there.its like there is a broken link on the dvd.

i purchased the above machine and im impressed it plays hollow man,matrix,vcds and anything else i throw at it but how do i record region 1 dvds to video on it ?
any help will be appreciated.

I Was thinking of purchasing this player for the bedroom , multi region for a £109 from richer sounds is this player any good or is it a bad buy?
Any help would be appreciated.
also would the macrovision be disabled?

i have just bought hollow man on r1 and it plays ok on my wharfy 750...i thought i had a problem if you see my earlier thread ....but i sorted it out
its a top film order it from www.futureent.com 16.99 delivered in 24 hrs

just purchased the Hollow man on r1,but on my wharfy 750 the film plays great but the extras on the disc lock the player up.......anyone else had this problem?
no im not swapping the player for a 750s!!!!!!!!
also my mate in the states was saying some of his mates were also having a problem with the patriot disc .....so its not just us who are having probs with the rce coding......THE PLOT THICKENS....!

ok then people answer me this" if every player on the market seems to have a problem, whats the best player to buy that has no problems and performs great.........if there is actually one out there, that is the best of the best.........if money was no object......ha ha i wish?

DOH.......750s,lecson

well 3 wharfedale 750s later and 1 lecson and there all pants.....i have had the same problem with all these players all R1 discs jumping and skipping and juddering......same fault with all players after trying out 10 r1 discs........i finally took the last 750s player back and got an original 750 player from tescos which ive not had a problem with......also after ringing wharfedale 3 times they finally admitted there is a problem with the new 750s and they were not allowed to comment on it regarding region 1 disks and said does it play r2 disks ok and i said NO and they said what disk and i told them sixth sense and they were aware of the green and white lines and said some disks will have problems....but i told them my new 750 was ok with sixth sense and they said cause it had a different chipset,i asked about the RCE problems, they said they were also aware of it and werent allowed to comment on the subject.....so there you have it, thanks for the great info WHARFEDALE....!

Thanks for the help people on the 750s,but last nite i sat down to watch sixth sense on r2 and had nothing but problems..ie green and white lines either side of the picture ...took it back to tescos and they gave me my money back......So i purchased a LECSON dvd900 and when i tryed the multi region hack the picture was jumpy on pitch black, t2,american psycho and others.
is the hack wrong or am i doing something wrong or is it the player?

How do i know if my Wharfedale 750s is the first batch or the new batch?
also will my player be able to handle this RCE problem everyone is going on about?
i just swapped my 750 player at Tescos tonite 9.35pm and they were fine about it,and gave me a 750s with no problems.........SORTED.

i have not had a problem with toy story 1 or 2......ive watched them both about 3 times a piece with no probs..
in fact ive not had any probs with any region 1 disk up to now,i also use the same hack.....i thought i would have probs with T2 :the ultimate edition.....but it played great....10/10

they are fast,reliable and always have what i want.
i bought "hellraiser/hellbound" limited edition in the tin case for 17.99 delivered
nobody does it cheaper than that.
