RE: Sony Notebook Cheap - Reality Bites you in the arse

holy crap - are there ever some bigotted idiots on this forum.

RE: new hmv offer

noticed that `together` (`tilsammans`) is included in this offer - excellent film (lukas moodysson - `show me love` (`f*cking amal`) was also his) - not seen it as cheap anywhere else.

woollies boxless

it could just be my local woollies (sudbury in suffolk) but they are clearing out some stuff for which they have misplaced the boxes.

i got bladerunner for £3.50 and reservoir dogs for £4.

had the likes of american beauty for £5 and some other WB titles for £3.50 also.

note that you still get an amaray case - just no printed artwork.

thought these were pretty nice deals.

RE: NEW MARTIAL ARTS DVDS @PLAY

purple storm is ok. more 9mm action than kung-fu. nice production values. slightly dodgy sfx at end. i enjoyed it.

RE: Has anyone seen The Sopranos (Any Region) Box sets at a good price?

you might want to note that the R1 sets are superior.
R2 & R4 are pan-and-scan, if i recall.

RE: Kodak digital camera worth £300 for £100 PLUS loads of accessories

quote sonylover -
"Any publicity is better than non at all."

try telling that to gary glitter.

RE: Seven 2 Disc Edition at £7.99

virgin have it as part of their 3 for £27 sale.
it`s the cheapest i`ve seen it.

blockbuster martial arts bargains

blockbuster have a 3 for £25 sale on at the moment - mostly the usual warner titles, but also included drive, iron monkey and a few other HKL titles (hitman - jet lee, eagle`s shadow - jackie).

RE: Movietyme Bargains !!

well - i saw sweet november a while back and liked it well enough.

my wife thought it was rubbish though.

slightly ironic perhaps.

Woollies sale

in addition to a number of (subjective) bargains in their stores (inc. xmen £9.99 and galaxy quest £7.99), woollies have put a number of sub £10 disks on their website. the standout among these is the HKL iron monkey disk for £8.99 - allegedly a very good film if you`re into the hong kong swordplay stuff.
