Does anyone know any others? www.fabienbarthez.tk no longer works :(

RE: Seinfeld series 1,2&3 £16.99

Just checked my order status on the Woolworths site and they`ve cancelled my order for the Seinfeld set :(

It was worth a try!

RE: CDWow and customs

Nice one. Thanks for your help, guys.

CDWow and customs

What`s the situation with ordering items from CDWow that cost over £18? Will I get charged by customs once it arrives? For example, if I want to buy a PS2 game for £30? Any info much appreciated.

The following DVDs are $5.98 CAD (£2.57) each, and as it`s DVDSoon, shipping is free.

VHS To DVD Recorder Hard Drive?

With DVD Recorders that also have a hard drive, is it possible to record from VHS to the hard drive and then transfer that recording to DVD-R, thus being able to transfer VHS videos to DVD videos? Any help much appreciated.

That`s the one! Thanks a million!!

Football Goals Archives (online)

I may have dreamt it but I`m pretty sure I once saw a website were you could watch each weekend`s goals from the Premiership, La Liga and Serie A online for free. Maybe there`s a few of this kind of site, I don`t know. If anyone knows if any exist, please let me know the web addresses. I`m abroad at the moment and I`m missing my footy! :(

RE: Leon - Widescreen 3.99 @ HMV

And those 24 minutes are well worth it! They really enhance an already brilliant film...

RE: HOW THE F`ING HELL CAN TITANIC BE THE NATIONS WORST FILM EVER?

I never liked Barry Norman. Firstly, he appears to have no sense of humour. Secondly, he always seemed to have way too many personal vendettas against certain actors to be an impartial film critic.

RE: Bloody BBC!!!

Am I the only one who absolutely hates digipacks? They can`t be replaced if the CD holder inside gets damaged, or if the case gets marks on it.

I`d ban them if I could... 8)

RE: O` Brother Where Art Thou, Special Edition - £6.99

They must have changed it today. When I looked at it yesterday it was £6.99

RE: John Barnes

I thought Barnes put in a better performance tonight. He`s obviously had some intensive schooling over the last two weeks! :) He was still a bit shaky though. One of the problems is that he has always talked at 100mph, and unless he slows down a bit for the audience, you`re only gonna understand about half of what he says...

RE: taxi 3

I`ve seen Taxi 3 and, as a big fan of Taxi and Taxi 2, it`s very disappointing. :( The ending is unbelievably limp, and the jokes are rarely funny. If you liked the first two, I`d avoid this one...

RE: John Barnes

I really felt sorry for the guy. He was choking and he knew it. There was a look of resignation on his face towards the end. Pat Nevin didn`t help, especially at the end when he foolishly just carried on chatting even though JB had said "goodnight" to the viewers. Surely they could have done some kind of screentest before they gave JB the job of anchorman? Shows how hiring someone just because of their name can blow up in your face.

It seems JB can`t do anything right these days. The Celtic job, TV appearances. I wouldn`t give a damn but Barnsey was my hero!

At least his rap on `World In Motion` was better than most of what rappers are releasing these days!

RE: Is anyone NOT BUYING the Indiana Jones Dvd Boxset?

Yeah, I seem to remember liking Temple Of Doom best too. I haven`t seen either three for years though. ToD`s got Data from `The Goonies` in it, doesn`t it?

Sky+

I`m thinking about upgrading from regular Sky to Sky+. Has anyone else done this? If so, are the package fees the same as with regular Sky (I`m currently on the `Sky World & Family` packaged) or are they bumped up if you use Sky+? Any help much appreciated...

Roseanna`s Grave DVD

Does anyone know if this film is out on DVD in the US or UK? The only version I`ve been able to find was released in Germany. If it`s not out, are there any plans to release it here or in the States? Any help much appreciated...

RE: Best released film this year so far?

For me, it has to be `City Of God`, no question.

Honourable mentions go to:
`Pirates Of The Caribbean`
`Punch-Drunk Love`
`Adaptation`
`Catch Me If You Can`
`About Schmidt`
`Dirty Pretty Things`

January and February were very good months.

RE: City Of God

I read somewhere that one of the (few) extras was going to be a 58 minute documentary, but I can`t remember where I read it and no other sites have mentioned it, so I`m dubious as to whether it will actually be on the DVD...

RE: SHAOLIN SOCCER

I think it`s great and, yes, the subs are unintentionally brilliant.

-"Can I touch your golden leg?"
- "I`m not in the mood. Go on, then!"

"It was you who accepted the dishonour check!" (bribe)

"Fit!"

Classic stuff. I feel sorry for the Yanks who are getting a heavily cut, dubbed version. Without these subs, they`re missing out big time.

Clerks : Collector`s Edition £8.99 @ CDWow

http://www5.cd-wow.com/detail_results_2.php?product_code=3158

Even cheaper if you`ve got a discount link/voucher.

Does anyone know if this one has the same special features (audio commentary, etc) as the Region 1 version?

RE: City Of God

For me, it`s hands-down the best film I`ve seen this year. It was a bit strange, five days into the new year (which was when I saw this film), realising I`m not going to see a better one for at least 12 months! I`ve heard nothing but praise from other people too.

Big thanks,
CDP

RE: City Of God

Grrrrrrr...!

Looks like the release date for City Of God has been put back to September 22nd. Let`s hope they`re using the delay time to stuff the DVD with more extras.

RE: Taxi 3

Nice spot, Steven. This version looks like a better bet though...

RE: Will you now start watching la liga because of beckham?

La Liga`s only available on Sky. They present it well. A live game every Saturday or Sunday evening (sometimes both), and a 2 hour highlights round-up/chat on Thursday evenings, with pundits who don`t have their heads up their own arses. Which makes a nice change. I already watch La Liga anyway, so Beckham joining Real Madrid makes no difference. Sky also show the German Bundesliga, but who cares.

I miss Italian Football `Gazetta` on Channel 4. Always enjoyable mainly because of presenter James Richardson`s sly jokes. He`s now underused on Eurosport`s Italian football broadcasts and they seem to have banned him from being amusing. Eurosport also show the French league, but who cares.

Taxi 3

Anyone have any idea when Taxi 3 is gonna be in UK cinemas? It came out 6 months ago in France.
