Synopsis:
The Brittas Empire centres around the disaster-prone Gordon Brittas (Chris Barrie). As manager of Whitbury New Town Leisure Centre, Brittas seems to have a natural talent for total chaos. Far from implementing his ideals, the staff and members of the leisure centre find themselves faced with a series of riotous mishaps. The Brittas Empire is my favourite sitcom of all time! I`ve always liked it, and what turned to a like, soon turned to an obession! I cannot discribe in words how much i love this show and everything about it. It facinates me. The set features the very first series of the big hit 90`s sitcom, which has been underated, and hasn`t got the repeats it deserves. But thankfully to Eureka Video, who have realeased the entire empire on Dvd, Series 1-7 are all now avliable. This series is the funniest in my opinion. The episodes feature some interesting and good smooth quality humour which is brilliant. Althrough this series I think is the funniest, series 5 is in fact the most entertaining series.
The complete Brittas series is exxxxxcellent, and this first series is a great start to something special, introducing wonderfully created and orginal characters, by comedy kings Fergan and Norris. The set features the full collection of the six great episodes from the very first series, which, like all the Brittas episodes are laugh out loud funny and highly entertaining!. The set features two discs and extras including a quiz, gallery, web link and varety proformance and more!.
A MUST BUY! If you haven`t started your Brittas Empire collection yet, then do so, and start here and build it up in order, or simply by the complete brittas empire- a set featuring the entire series. Note: This first series does NOT feature the character Julie, who`s brought in at Series 2
