Page 2 of 24: Live Another Day

The simulcast was early this morning as the US broadcast was last night. The episodes will air again in their usual time slot tomorrow night (Wednesday 7th) at 9pm on Sky One.
I'm calling it now. The season will end with Jack returning to the US Inception-style to meet Kim and see his grandchildren.
Enjoyed this episode, mainly due to the Vauxhall Griffin being just down the road from the Travis Perkins branch that signified the end of my charity Thames walk a few years ago
Also, as he came out the rear of that pub, he crossed the street and entered Kennington Tube station. That pub is a mile away from Kennington tube

That's nothing compared to the teleporting ability of the girl he was chasing. 5 minutes to get from the centre of London to a manor in the English countryside xD
I don't think I'll ever get used to Jack Bauer talking about pubs or the tube.

They did say there would be time jumps in this series. Only 12 hours but still spanning 24. Also you'd be surprised how many large estates there are 10 minutes from the centre of town. Probably not with that much rolling countryside around it...

Started watching this (up to date with the first four episodes), and it's okay. Some parts of it are sillier than usual (protesters didn't seem to behave very realistically, and no Guy Fawkes masks?), and yet again the tech dialog and design seems written by someone whose entire experience of computers is a Nintendo DS, but meh it's always been awful on that front.
So far, it's okay, it's watchable, but still nowhere remotely as exciting (if it is at all) as when it was at its peak.

I'd never seen a single episode of 24 until I started watching this series. It's not doing it for me tbh. I find myself drifting away and suddenly realise I've missed what's going on. I suspect earlier series' were better and perhaps the bar's been set higher by your Breaking Bads and your Walking Deads...
I don't watch it, but this newspaper article may contain spoilers, I dunno!

SPOILER:
FANS of Jack Bauer are being warned not to head to Southamptondocks in hope of getting a glimpse of their action hero as filming for the latest series of 24 comes to the city tonight.
As revealed in yesterday's Daily Echo, the hit American show and its star Kiefer Sutherland are bringing a bit of Hollywood glamour to the city's container terminal for the next two nights.
I watched the first two series, then I think gave up during series 3 when it got a bit "too silly"!
