"Well, thank Utd for the draw that you should have won, but also neither of them looked good in that game"Not sure about not looking good in the game, we had 28 shots?
62 shots against them in two games this season, the most any side have faced since records began. Unfortunately for us, they've resulted in 2 goals and 2 points - which certainly ain't good.
Utd are soooo poor, you'll beat them well I'm sure.

Could have been worse.
Only know the result and scorers.
That's what you get for selling a really good player to opponents (Gnabry)
They'll be confident of winning at their place but I think we can do them.

Some defensive frailty there last night, maybe also the odd tactical mistake too. Their first goal was a goal keeping mistake that put Gabriel in a terrible position for no reason.
I'd rather have the league, so if we go out, meh.

Definitely not 'meh'.
There's a huge Europe sized hole in our record I'd love to put right.

No words. :(
Well, maybe wrong team selection are some words.
At least the women won an easy match and had fun.

It took City 6 or 7 years to win the Champions league and his was our first season back in it.
I can't criticise our performance.
The best comment I've seen so far is that what should be learnt from this is on Arteta and not the players.
He needs to use the squad more throughout the season. Maybe he thinks he doesn't have enough players that he trusts but I think he's being maybe a bit too cautious.
Either way City are out as well, which is a plus in my book.
Now if we can just nick the league back of them...

I only half watched the game, so I haven't got too much to say on the performance other than unlike many other games this season where we went a goal down and looked confident enough to come back quickly, we just looked more desperate.
It's easy to forget this is Arteta's first full time gig, and quarter finals is way better than we have reached for a long while so also not unhappy with the fact we got this far but can now just focus on the league and hope City slip up.
I do also feel some players have been underused this season and throwing them on in the hope this is the day they turn a game around is a little expectant. But likewise, as much as I like Eddie, I don't think he's good enough to be in this squad and have flashbacks to the Wenger days when Gervinhio came on and it felt like we'd given up on the game.
Anyway...
I'm glad City went to penalties and hoping that'll tire them out a little more for the league.
