Page 1 of Why doesn`t p2p work with talk talk?

Hi All,

As per title why cannot peer to peer with talk talk?

Tried Kazaa and it destroyed my machine ... the blue screen of death

Any help would be appreciated?

I don`t think the BSOD could be TalkTalk`s doing - but blocking P2P ports by a "free" ISP wouldn`t surprise me. If Kazaa lets you (never used it), then change the port used and see if that helps.

Don`t think talktalk explicitly block p2p - but they are a bit vague about it.

unfortunately Talk Talk is the worst rated ISP in the UK And yes, some providers do "strangle P2P . Talk Talk would seem a very likely culprit....

My mate got talk talk and i tried kazaa and lime wire too on his pc. All failed. Did not crash it but just kept trying to connect.

Useless, annoying, waste of time service.

Guess services that offer loads of other extras and free talking etc have to make their money else where.

Try torrents. Try anything to get back at those internet blocking companies.
