Page 1 of Lg3350 and Bush 5 speaker + sub

Just saw a Bush 5 Speaker system with sub at Tesco for £79.
Has anybody got this system, and if so what`s it like.

Would this plus my Lg3350 be a decent entertainment system.
At the minute i have a Sony Dolby Pro Logic t.v with rear speaker`s,how would i hook this lot up.

I would be interested to know about that Bush Surround SOund kit. I`m looking for something for my Toshiba SD-100D (WHICH IS STILL AVALIBLE IN ASDA STORES PEOPLE!!). Has anyone got any suggestions?!

This is what we have found out about it so far on the DVD FORUM`S.Your dvd will have to have a decoder,and what people say is you get what you pay for.So it`s not up to the Digitheatre standard, but to me at this price beggars ca`rnt be choosers, so i think i will go for it.

I bought one of the Bush systems on impulse. Not bad. Everything goes throught the sub-woofer, that is, you connect the 5.1 channel outputs to the sub using the cables supplied and then connect the speakers to the sub also. Its very much plug and play with the sub having a master volume control and the handset allowing individual speakers to be tuned. I paid £99.99 so I`m mildly p***ed but Tesco seem to do this all the time, charging different prices in different areas (no £99 Wharfdales where I live!). In the end I was only interested in a cheap sub so I cut off the plugs and wired the speakers directly to a receiver, pretty good.
