yep i have the same model and its spot on and as a bonus you can use it to make s-vhs recordings on standard vhs tapes as well as it seems to kick the butt of macrovision but im not 100% percent sure but any feedback would be nice...
my dvd is a aiwa 370 (remote hacked) from richer sounds and the video recorder is a hr-s6722 and i am able to watch the matrix through my video and have recorded the first 10 mins as a test(not sure if that would be enough) the video has a set top box feature so you can change channels on sat tv type and cable boxes (not sure about sky or on digital) as well as if you can find a model of the same type with the mbr remote (multi brand remote) so you have less to worry about when it comes to having piles of remotes in front of you...as you can run your tv from the same remote.
if any jvc user has a mbr remote could you give me some feedback on programming and if it will run most other types of tv`s...baz
