I know it says its for a lenoxx HT-600 but i have used it to hack my pacific ph203

How to change the region code of Lenoxx HT-600

1. Press Power on from your remote control to boot up your Lenoxx HT-600(pacific ph203)

2. Press the Open button on your remote control to open the disc tray
3. Press the Volume button on your remote control until to the maximum value.

4. Press the Language button on your remote control.

5. The onscreen display will indicate the currently selected region
6. Using the Down button on your remote control, change the region to 1 for region 1, 2 for region 2, and so on.

7. Press the Enter button on your remote control :)

Thanks for the advice, but I`ve tried this, and all I get is a little hand. Any other advice please?

Just tried it this morning, got the hand same as yourself. However if you set the volume to max before trying the hack, it will work :D

update, I have managed to get this to work, you just have to be VERY quick with your thumbs between the volume up and the language button.

Only problem is, it doesn`t stay at a setting so you have to do it every time you open the drawer! :/

They are selling these bargain home cinema system in Asda again, is this hack still ok to use or has anyone found out how to permanently free the region settings, seems like a bit of a pain to have to change the region every time ?

Thanks

forget my last post, we bought the system on wednesday and will taking it back tonight as there was such an annoying humm coming from all the speakers.
We had a play with the system setup in the shop and found it was doing the same thing, so I wouldn`t advise purchasing this system, low price, low quality it seems. Shame!

Hi guys i`m new to this but i found some more info out about this unit.

The hack described with the volume up thing does work, but as that other user said you have to be superfly on pressing the language button as soon as max appears. Instead of tapping the volume up, i switch on with the remote, press open, hold (don`t tap just hold the) volume + till MAX appears then instantly press language. Then
choose region 0 to unlock then enter.

Those of you who were a bit gutted about it not staying unlocked when you switch off, well if you perservere and keep switching on, doing the code (setting region to 0), pressing enter then switching off again. Do this about five times and it locks on 0 so you don`t need to do it again. You`ll find when it locks when you put the code in after a switch off and its already at 0 before you choose.

Hope this helps.
