I have the sony dvp ns330 dvd player, and i want to make it multi region.
i cant access the "www.modchipsuk.co.uk" to look at it.

Do you have any suggestions or advice you can give me please.

The Upgrade Service Remote is available on there...but it will cost

But if you do a Google search ...you will find others ...but I expect the price will be similar

See the comments a few days ago in this forum about the RDR-GXD500. That hack should work on most Sony players/recorders. If you try it, tell us how you get on.

It will work on Some sony Players & Recorders ...but not all

The More Recent ones do accept the Codes ...but the Older ones will not..and I still think that the DVP-NS30 will not ....but give it a go

Hackeroonie, I`ve checked the AV Forums and I see that the standard service-remote/one-for-all/palm-pilot hack works for the DVP-NS305 and the DVP-NS355, so I think it`s fairly safe to assume that it`ll work for the DVP-NS300 as well.

It`s the solution I`d recommend because a One-For-All-4 can be bought for £20 from Argos and you get to keep it after the hack - unlike the multiregionupgrades.com remote which costs £25 for one use.
