RE: The Wire (Best show on tv no one watches) Season 5 thread
Watched season five episodes 1-7, in a week and had too wait 3 weeks for no .8. Filled the time by watching "the Corner" as quoted in a past thread, great show, sort of a trial run for e the wire, with a lot of the same actors. A must watch for all wire fans and a true story too.

My mates just bought The Corner which I will be borrowing off him.
Just watched the final episode.
I`m undecided on the "ending" to the show at the moment, but the end shot is awesome to the original Down In The Hole music.

I`ve just been looking for the music for the theme tune to season 5 as it`s not included on the album The Wire.....and all the pieces matter.
I`ve found it, but there`s also mp3 copies of the theme from all 5 series for anyone who`s interested

Good shout on this show.
I`m up to episode 9 of the first series and really enjoying it.

Glad you`re enjoying it, it`s hard not to once you get into it :)
I watched episode 8 of season 5 "Clarifications" last night, one of the best hours in front of the TV I`ve spent. I`m not even gonna risk putting spoilers round why, just in case I do it wrong! Look forward to talking about it later :)

Wow, I won`t be watching it anymore, just finished watching the finale. brilliant stuff. Sad to see it end, but glad the show ended on such a good season, rather than fading off.
SPOILER:
very glad to see "Reginald" was allowed out of the basement to eat dinner with his family :) Sad about Dukie though :(

Admars
SPOILER:
Was a very good end to the series, especially after after episode 8 and 9 which started off on a happy ending which I was loving, but the way it went suited the show better.
Made more sense to me than the Soprano`s ending.

MilesR don`t read the spoilers, some are just that, I`m very glad i didn`t read one on the previous page! be strong. May be best for Mills and Ito PM this thread or go to tv.com or something ;)
SPOILER:
It was good that no-one became a martyr, no one was untouchable, the game is just going to carry on with different players. The final montage was really well done showing scenes from all the previous series. I had forgotten about the low rises!
