Page 1 of The Thames Whale

Don`t you think the media is making too much of this.

I love whales & don`t mind watching the Sky etc coverage (as apposed to big brother, at least it`s natural). But they are whipping up the story too much.

Everybody likes a bit of wildlife, especially in our big mean unhuman capital city where nobody cares about anything ;) I popped down and saw it at lunchtime, and was a bit disappointed, it was just like a big dolphin. I think i was expecting a giant blue whale or something 8)

As I type there is a helicopter above me. It is monitoring the whale, which is in the Thames at the bottom of my road, five minutes away.
Going to have a look after breakfast.

Slow news day? No - I think they were fully justified in having it as their top news item. As terrible as they are, deaths/murders do happen quite a lot - how often do you get a whale in the Thames!? I know which I would rather read about...
