CAN I USE MY O2 MOBILE IN SOUTHERN IRELAND??

I`m off to Co Mayo to work for a week tommorrow only just thought about this and i need to keep in touch with the missus and kids any advice ta 8)

should do cause I live in Northern Ireland and my sister has an O2 phone which switches over to 02 IE when in the south (02 bought over eircom (the souths leading mobile network) a few years back)

Should be no problem but watch for the fact that its counted as abroad it think, so watch the call charges. If you are staying in the north of Eire and get the signal from a NI transmitter you should still be counted as in the UK.

Just make sure you get to the right place - Mayo is in the west of Ireland. I`m O2 here in Dublin and can make calls okay when in England.
