Various Bagel Factory discount vouchers

Evening all.

I`ve been emailed some discount vouchers for Bagel Factory by a friend who works for them. I`ve hosted them HERE if anyone wants to download and print them.

Hope they are of use to someone.

RE: Cut up your Barclaycard NOW!!!

I`ve got a Terence Conran VISA card which pays 1% cashback on all spending. I pay it off in full each month.

RE: External hard drive help

If you are running Windows XP, it should show up in `My Computer` automatically as a `Removable Storage Device` (or summat!). Double click it and use as normal.

RE: New PayPal Discount Code

50p saved - not a lot I know but it all counts!

Thanks to the OP ;)

RE: DVD Recorder Quality. In what way do poor machines fail to work well?

Some cheaper DVD recorders (like my Mico R311) don`t have RGB input. If recording from a digibox such as Sky, the quality won`t be as good as one which does have RGB input. Having said that, on my bog-standard TV the difference is not enough to worry me.

RE: FREE SKY - Maybe

There is a difference between "Free-to-View" channels and "Free-to-Air" channels. FTA channels are broadcast in the clear and do not require a subscription or any sort of viewing card to be able to watch them. FTV channels are ones which do not require a subscription but do require a viewing card to decrypt them. BBC channels are FTA but ITV, Channel 4, five, etc are FTV.

If you got your Sky equipment free and have been a subscriber for 12 months or more you can cancel your sub but keep your viewing card to enable you to watch the FTV channels.

RE: BPI vs CDWOW

Is it any wonder that people download stuff illegally when we`ve got high-horse tossers like the BPI trying to prevent us from buying CD`s and DVD`s from a legitimate source? What a bunch of total and utter w***ers >:(

RE: Tv footage from Bazzra. The burning tanks one.

I imagine if you throw burning petrol over anything it will burn, armoured or not. :/

RE: Free digital camera

I would imagine that if you switch to OneTel for your line rental, they would bar you from using the cheapest call providers such as 18866 and 1899. Their call rates may be cheaper than BT but I bet they`re not as cheap as the two I`ve just mentioned.

RE: Name the program?

Bob Mortimer did a Steve Irwin p155-take on Monkey Trousers called "The Croc Botherer".

RE: Dog owners

I`ve got two German Shepherds and always clean up after them. Cannot abide people who just let their dogs $hit all over the place and don`t clear it up.

Oh yeah and I too would like to know what has happened to white dog poo.

RE: spooky car ad

I can JUST make out a man`s voice near the end but only with the volume right up. I`ve always believed in ghosts but this just confirms it for me. :o

RE: Buying a DVD Recorder

Sorry if this is a stoopid question but if your player won`t read discs, why are you keeping it? :/

RE: The Reviewer Football Thread

Any thoughts as to where the mighty Rams will finish this season, Nick? I think we over-achieved last season, our sensational away form basically keeping us in the play-off spots. I feel a lower top half finish is what can be expected this time around.

RE: CAN I USE MY O2 MOBILE IN SOUTHERN IRELAND??

Have a look at O2`s site, that should tell you.

RE: Post your Fez here - Post your images for the Reviewer Clan!!

I`m here and I`m not biting ;)

RE: Shop around for your holiday money

You don`t have to transfer your account to Nationwide to have a FlexAccount. Just open one to use purely for overseas spending.

RE: Shop around for your holiday money

If you open a Nationwide FlexAccount you can use ATM`s abroad without charge AND Nationwide use the interbank exchange rate rather than the tourist rates. Stick all your holiday money in your Nationwide account and use cash machines in the same way as you would here in the UK.

Have a look HERE for more info.

RE: HELP ant problem wife going nuts

I was talking to an Environmental Health Officer last year about how to prevent ants from coming into our open-fronted shop. She said the best treatment for vertical surfaces is Dethlac because it clings to walls etc and the best for horizontal surfaces is Wilko own-brand because it is water based and trickles into tiny cracks and gaps.

RE: Calls from BT landline to Mobiles - 4p/min

There is no separate charge to DialWise, the cost of the call is to the 0844 access number only and appears on your BT bill as any other call would.

RE: Underground closed possible explosion!!!!

Just heard on Sky that an Italian news agency is reporting explosions in Rome with up to 50 dead

RE: Underground closed possible explosion!!!!

Watching ITV news at the moment and they say that the National Grid have reported no problems with electricity supply so the earlier thoughts that the Tube explosions were caused by a power surge appear unlikely.

Reports now suggest 3 buses and two Tube trains involved.

RE: Payments between Amazon UK & .Com

If anyone is interested, most credit cards adjust the exchange rate for foreign currency transactions by 2.75% in their favour. Certain cards such as Nationwide, Liverpool Victoria and Lombard Direct don`t do this so the conversion is done at the standard Visa or Mastercard rate.

If you buy a lot of stuff from abroad its worth having a card that doesn`t charge you the extra 2.75%

RE: I D Cards

Quote:
£90 quid ID cards, £1500 a year just to drive to work, £3billion European rebate down the pan. Ever get the feeling Tony left something out of the Labour manifesto this April?

To everyone that helped keep labour in power;

Thanks a f***ing bunch

Well said, that man >:(

Calls from BT landline to Mobiles - 4p/min

Credit to pricefighter on this forum for spotting that by using a call-through provider called DialWise you can call a UK mobile from a BT landline for only 4p/min :D

RE: Richard Whiteley dead

He`ll be much missed.

RIP :(

RE: Can you recommend low tarrif to Australia from BT landline exc 18866 & 1899

Most of these Telesavers/Telestunt type of companies are actually part of the same group. You can`t really go wrong as the initial call to the access number is the one which appears on your BT bill - there`s no way they can bill you again.

One slight downside to this type of service is that you start getting charged when you are connected to the access number so if you ring someone and the line is engaged or not answered, you are still charged for the time you are connected to the service. Having said that, 1p per minute is hardly going to bankrupt you!
