Fantastic 4 (2 disc) - £6.99!

Saw a thread over at moneysavingexpert.com about this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000ARTNBK/qid=1135501496/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_10_3/026-7937660-1035662?tag=myrev09-21

Amazon Jersey are selling this for just £6.99 delivered. Beware though as amazon have two versions of the two disc set, one with limited edition sleeve. The amazon Jersey price is for the normal 2 disc edition.

I haven`t seen the film, but at £6.99 you can`t grumble

Thanks for that bargain - considering it`s only been out on DVD in the UK for a few weeks, that`s an excellent price. As a return favour for bargain hunters, I`ll mention this site I just found via Google:

Amazon UK/Jersey Price Comparsion

Gives a table (across multiple pages unfortunately) of the current savings that can be had if you buy from Amazon Jersey instead of Amazon UK, sorted in %age saved order (or other sorted orders if you use the select list - plus you can search for a title as well).

Don`t forget that you should limit your Amazon Jersey orders to 18 quid or less to avoid any potential import duty/VAT - since the postage is fixed per item (unlike Amazon UK), simply split your order up if it`s too big.

I thought stuff from Jersey wasn`t subject to customs charges? :/

Like all items imported into the UK, the tax free limit is £18 - after that you will get charged something like 3% duty (dependant on the type of item it is) plus 17.5% VAT - and usually a handling charge of £5 as well (more if it`s someone like UPS who import it for you).
