PC World DVD+RW`s at £15 for 25

Spoonthumbs (Competent) posted this on Monday, 29th December 2003, 16:05

If you haven`t seen the other posting - Spindle of 25 DVD+RW`s at £30 (Half Price), coming up as BOGOF (ie. £15 for 25) when you get to the checkout!

I bought 6 spindles in the Chelmsford Store, the staff were very interested for themselves, so get down there quick before the price changes! :)

Thanks for the posting. I got 50 DVD+RW`s (2 X 25 spindle) for £29.99 - it`s a shame that the epos tills don`t advise customers that they could get another spindle free - how many people paid £29.99 for just one spindle I wonder?

It was the bloke at the till who told me! It came up on the screen, because I had originally tried to buy 3 spindles, he said to go back and get another one for free! I checked with him, and rest is history!

Hi Spoonthumbs & Mrmicro I bought the 25 pk of dvd+rw for £29.99 on 26*12*03 and was not told about the offer of the free pack .So i rang this morning and was told to go back to the store i bought the discs from and claim the free discs.I went in and told them about the posting on DVD REVIEWER and after checking " i think the guy at the checkout thought i was trying it on " he said yes thats ok go and lift a pack .He could not find anything about £15 for 25 discs +25 free so it was worth going back. This offer and other offers apply to a deal like this if it comes up within 7 days of your purchase ," you will need the receipt" thanks again guys you just saved me £29..99 as i was going to go back and buy another pack.fw600vj :) :)
