Do not buy from Savastore, I`ve had a nightmare trying to get a refund from these people. On the other hand Novatech are excellent. I ordered a PC from them for £615 and it arrived 3 days later. P4, 64mb graphics, 512 ddram, CD burner, ethernet card, free keybord and mouse. Free delivery too.

A man takes his wife to the live stock show. They start heading down the

Swapping DVD`s

I have a few DVD`s that I don`t really want but would like to swap. Anyone know of any sites where I can do this securely? Don`t like the idea of just exchanging addresses with someone just to have them pull out of the deal after I`d sent my DVD.

Bond 20

Just wondering, when the new Bond 20 film is released on DVD will they be keeping the special edition covers going. you know the ones that say 007 down the side when there all lined up. I hope they will but what they will put on it I don`t know because the gun part is done.

Right I know this has probably been done before but.....

I was thinking of setting up a web site for people to read reviews of the latest DVD`s UK/US releases. This site would have the reviews writen by the visitors instead of `Movie type people` if you know what I mean! I have a few other ideas for this site but there top secret :o)

Just wondering if you think it`s a viable idea? All thoughts/suggestion most welcome.

I`ve had a longer look at the problem and I think it`s the TV. If I look closer the flicker is there on all channels that come through the cable box and video (both via scarts) cable box is new as of Friday and DVD scart lead cost me 30 quid and has never been bent/twisted. Thanks for te advice, guess I`ll just put up with it, don`t fancy having to pay an TV guy to have a look at it.

Screen flicker

Whenever I watch a DVD I get a flickering across the top of the screen, Right across where the black border usually is. My TV is a Sharp 24" widescreen and my DVD player is a Bush 2004. At first I thought it might have been the center speaker onto of the TV but no. Then I tried all cables and their connected right. And suggestion on what could be causing this?

Yep seen it too on VCD. Excellent movie. As for the mistakes well there loads. The mix poping into frame, when he first cliams a wall his clothes hang wrong...

How many ad breaks are there on sky 1 in any one hour show? Look at Star Gate SGC when it`s on channel 4 you get an ad before it starts 1 around 15 mins later 1 at around 30 min and a final 1 15 mins before the show ends which is normally before the climax of any episode. Why sky can`t do it like that I have no idea. By the way I normally channel hope while the ads are on but even that doesn`t seem to work anymore as all channels seem to show ads a t the same time. If you not happy turn the TV off and go outside for a walk.

Bush 2004 & mp3 COOL

Just found out that my bush 2004 DVD player that plays mp3 also supports a folder system. so now I have a CD that has 10 of my fav LPs on it all with it`s own folder. I`m a very happy puppy.

Burning MP3 audio

I`m not sure this is the right forum for this question but I thought I`d give it a go and ask you guy with you infinite knowledge :o)

My DVD player plays MP3 and I want to burn a disc with MP3 files on it. I`ve made a M3U playlist with 45 tunes. Now I have Nero 5 which supports playlist but when I drag the list over to the burn section in the menu it says theres too much for a disc, as it`s well over 80 minutes in lengh but the size of all the tracks will only come to around 180 MB. I don`t get this, I`m confused can anyone shed any light on this for me?

MP3 on DVD

My DVD player plays MP3 files but I don`t want to just burn a CD with all my CD`s on it without being able to choose which CD`s I listen to. Is there anyway I can make a menu of sorts that my DVD play can read and which will allow me to pick which CD I play? Lets say I burn a CD with say Oasis and Travis on it can I possible choose which I listen too or do I have to stick em all together? Hope you understand what I talking about.

I bought one about a month ago and I`m very please with it. Granted the player probable isn`t the best but it work fine for my needs. The surround system is good too. The player plays R1+2 DVD`s and MP3 audio.

How many do you have?

Okay I know this has probably been ask before but I`m new here and would like to know how many DVD movie titles you have in your collection? I have 47 including all the 007 special editions. And not one of them is a region 1 DVD.

You shouldn`t need an adaptor. I have Cable TV, VCR and DVD and only use 2 scarts. You`re Sky should be connected to you`re VCR and that to you`re TV using only 1 scart then you`re DVD using the other. Now I`m not totally up to speed on how the Sky digibox works. Have a look in the manual. Do you have you`re RF (Arial) connected to?

Looking at the manual the DVD is the 2004 model and I have the Bush Pro300 5.1 home theatre system. Iknow dts doesn`t work because I tried Gladiator using the dts sound track and didn`t get a sound! I`ll just wait until I get my next upgrade which might be a while as I`ve only had this one for a month :-)

I`ve had a DVD player for a year or two now but never really took to much interest in all the techy stuff but I`ve just bought a Bush AV3K player which has Dolby Digital. What I want to know is what is the difference between DD and DTS? And what will happen if I play a DVD that has DTS in a player that only has Dolby Digital? Oh yeah which is best?
